Hi everyone! I just came across an ad for this movie God's Not Dead and was impressed by the trailer. It looks like a good movie to support! It opens March 21 in select theaters, and I am thinking I might try to push to get a showing in our local (Centralia) theater. What do you think, should we support this film?
That looks like a neat movie Kyle. I know lots of the actors from other movies, and it looks like the story line is great. It looks like a movie worth our support!
Elanee and Eden: I agree! This film looks like it might be a cut above the typical films produced by PureFlixs. It looks worthy of support! BTW, there is a theater about thirty minutes south of Portland that is already committed to showing the film. Not sure how close that is to both of you, but it might be worth supporting in theaters. :0)
Hey Kyle! Are you and your family going to see God's Not Dead? I was wondering if you know the date and time your going? and what theater it's at? We're thinking of going;)
Evan: Wow, you have incredible timing! I have been trying to dig up your family's e-mail (did we ever get your guy's e-mail, BTW?) to invite you guys to see the movie with us in Vancouver! We have already invited the Strangs, and it looks like they can come! I have also invited the Vangelders, and we are waiting for a response from them. We were planning to see God's not Dead in the Vancouver mall theater Saturday afternoon (March 22), so if you can come, that would be awesome!
Hey Kyle. Thanks for the updated information. It looks like we will be able to come see the movie with you all. I'm not sure if we've shared our email address with you all, but you I know we have yours, so I can just send you an email with ours.
BTW the above comment was actually from me, but I posted it on my mom's computer, which was logged into Evan's account. But I was asking the question for him, so I guess that counts:)
Hi Elanee, Great! That would be awesome if you guys could come! My mom just found your mom's e-mail today, so we do have a way to e-mail you. :0) I'll let you know the details as they develop!
Hey Jordan! Well, I'm not terribly fond of the Newsboys either. Their songs aren't exactly rich with lyrical protein all the time, if ya' know what I mean (though I like their song "Live with Abandon"). Would you watch the movie in theaters?
@Kyle: Hard to say since we don't always watch movies in theaters... You know, with nine people, things can get steep! I would consider it though, hard part would be to get everyone else interested enough to go to theaters rather than "Just wait till it comes out on DVD!" ;)
We don't watch many movies in theaters, but when we do, our dad usually makes us pay for our ticket. :0) That angle might work to convince your dad to go see the movie, at least. :0)

ReplyDeleteYeah... I just watched that trailer the other day and thought it looked pretty good. …:)

Hmmm... we should put a group together... that would be really fun! :)
DeleteOh yeah... and I agree with Jordan about not being a Newsboy fan... :P They should have used SCC! ;P
What, the old croaker? He is *so* overrated. JK ;0)
