The offense started hot, with Adna scoring three in the first and Mossyrock scoring two in their half of the inning, but after the first, it appeared as if it would become a low-scoring game. Heading into the home-half of the fourth, Adna had been able to hold their lead, tacking on another run to lead the Viks 4-2, but in the end, Mossyrock's bats could not be held in check. Thanks to some costly errs and some timely hitting, Mossyrock blew the game open by scoring five in the fourth and four in the fifth, leaving Adna in the dust.
Though it took until the fourth inning, the sold-out crowd of fans (about 30 in attendance ;0)) got to see what the Mossyrock team is capable of. Dominic, the number 3 batter, smacked the ball all three times, hitting a single, triple, and a three-run, stand-up home run. Timmy Bowes, the number 4 batter, finished a home run short of the cycle, going 3 for 3 with 2 runs and 2 RBIs.
Time will tell if this team is a team of destiny, but from what was seen tonight, the Mossyrock rookie baseball team is a force to be reckoned with.

Hello everyone! I am smiling from ear to ear right now! Today my little bro played his first baseball game, and he done the Bowes name proud. Just watching him play brings back all the fond memories I have of my baseball days. Like me when I was his age, Timmy takes his games very seriously--but has a blast. He cried and cried when his first two games were cancelled (Good ole Washington :0( ), but was finally able to play today. He smacked the ball all three times and made some good defensive plays. How could he not; he plays ball with his big bro every day. :0)
