You talked about Deborah just a little, and her role as judge of Israel. This I found particularly interesting: Our Heavenly Father created men to be obedient servant leaders filling roles of God ordained authority. When the LORD chose Deborah (an obedient women) to be judge over Israel, He was in affect judging Israel... For the disobedient leadership of the men.
Keep speaking the Truth in this dark world,
- A brother in Christ J McRaenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-907511360038339184.post-82190707073958909682014-01-24T18:43:13.164-08:002014-01-24T18:43:13.164-08:00Hi, my favorite big sister in the world!

Like, omniscient up there. :0) You are exactly right! God created us for different roles/tasks, and it is a perfect design! When we go against His design, it sure doesn't work well.Kyle Boweshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10245496263961033458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-907511360038339184.post-58406456197696979212014-01-24T17:15:57.539-08:002014-01-24T17:15:57.539-08:00Great article Kyle, I enjoyed reading it. It hits ...Great article Kyle, I enjoyed reading it. It hits me every once in awhile how wise our God is...(feels funny even to say that!) He designed two very different human beings and specifically assigned them each to different roles/tasks. When we go against his perfect design and both try to fill the same role (or swap roles) it doesn't work well for either of us, let alone society in general. America was once a greater county because we understood this, and put it into practice.
Love, your sis,
Lydia Lydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10073218727857472017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-907511360038339184.post-28372590533768238352014-01-24T17:07:23.997-08:002014-01-24T17:07:23.997-08:00I must have read the same book/article as you Shil...I must have read the same book/article as you Shiloh...I remember that same statement, and it's very true! I know I was not (I am rather squeamish around blood as well). However, as a male, it is my job to fight if necessary, and I accept that. But I will never understand why a woman would voluntarily offer to go to war. You are completely right.
Kyle Boweshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10245496263961033458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-907511360038339184.post-89898933215234199312014-01-23T19:20:33.386-08:002014-01-23T19:20:33.386-08:00I think you're completely right, and I enjoyed...I think you're completely right, and I enjoyed reading your thoughts. Also I agree with what you said about fighting - I hate blood and gore and grossness and can't handle it even on movies. I don't think we women were designed for that. :) Very nice post. And Shiloh's comment was very good- that "taking on the double curse" thing is so true - I've never heard that before. I enjoy reading your blog.

The thing about feminism is that most of the women that react rudely are really in actuality grateful for your care and attention to recognize them as a woman, but they are either too proud, or hurt by men in the past, and can't humble themselves to comprehend why a man would want to treat them like a lady.

Nevertheless, you must not be discouraged, I commend you for being a man of integrity, and treating women with virtue. May God richly bless you as you seek to be the man we all need in this dark age of pride, and discontentment on the part of women. I once read feminism defined as women taking on the "double curse" and of course it's not God's calling or role that designed for women.ShilohShttp://shilohariel.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
